New Reservations Manager

Secondly, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new reservations manager, Elise.

Originally hailing from picturesque Normandy, skiing has been Elise's passion from childhood, a legacy from her father who made sure that their annual Alps getaway was non-negotiable!

Elise is an adventurer at heart with a taste for the extraordinary. She has lived in Canada, Australia, England, and India.

For the past 7 winters, Elise has been calling Courchevel home, working for the SAF and the local mountain guides office.

While winter sees her conquering snowy peaks, the summer breeze takes her back to her roots in Normandy.

Hiking, sailing and horse-riding are her summer pastimes and when she is not exploring, you will find her crafting intricate baskets or indulging in the delightful world of cheese and chocolate cake.

We have a feeling that she is going to fit straight in !

New in the 3 Valleys

As the largest ski area in the world, Les 3 Vallées is constantly evolving and innovating to ensure that each visit is a memorable one.

So, as usual, this new winter season has a plethora of new things to discover. We can’t name them all, and we will let you discover some of the secrets by yourselves, but we can showcase a few that we be at the top of our to do list:

Le Nid de la Saulire / A new hut with a view

Following the success of its first « Nid », set up just beyond the Col de la Loze, the latest addition to the Nid series has sprung up at the summit of the Saulire. Perched at altitude, these charming, pointed huts are designed as veritable cocoons. At the « Nid de la Saulire », you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Courchevel resort or admire the typical high-mountain panorama with the Aiguille du Fruit in the background. Access: from the top of the Vizelle, Saulire Express or Pas du Lac gondolas.

Giant Hammock at the Cabane du Lac in Méribel

This little-known location is well worth the detour.

The Cabane du Lac is a much-appreciated spot for skiers looking to picnic inside in the warm, or just to have a rest and soak up the views.

Nestling in the untouched Roc de la Tougne sector, in addition to its comfortable picnic room, this little wooden mountain hut now features a giant hammock for a moment of relaxation in the open air.

This novel, fun addition is sure to delight families and friends, for a relaxing break soaking up the beauty of the surrounding summits.

Access: the Cabane du Lac is located on the Julie run, and is accessible via the Roc de Tougne chairlift.
